How long have you been blogging and why did you start?
It’s been two years. I’d been thinking about starting a blog for several years and was tired of telling myself I could never handle the photography part of blogging.
Do you have a secret recipe you aren’t willing to share?
If you were stranded on a desert island with only one food, what would you choose?
Bread and butter. (I consider that one food because who eats bread plain?)
How did you come up with your blog’s name?
I was falling asleep one night and it just popped into my head. It was the best I could come up with.
What are you passionate about besides food?
Reading! I devour books. And dressing my dog up in adorable outfits. And exercise, a necessary evil when you bake as much as I do.
What is your favorite food to make?
Bread, especially sourdough.
What is your favorite thing to order when you are out to eat?
Pasta if it’s housemade or chocolate cake.
Who are some of your favorite bloggers?
There are waaaaay too many to mention.
What are some of your favorite recipes on your blog?
Sugar cookie bars with roasted strawberry buttercream. I think about them all the time. And all of my cheesecake cakes!
What is your favorite thing about blogging?
Two things: the connections I’ve made with other bloggers and the fact that there’s always something new to learn.
